This verse has been badly corrupted by the Muslim scholars to imply that God tested Abraham by commanding him to kill his own son!

The truth is that the dream witnessed by Abraham was NOT from God, it was from Satan. God never violates His own law, God would not test a believer by commanding him to commit a gross sin.  Killing an innocent soul (Ismail) is a sin.  For more details on this matter please go to :
