God's support and protection

God sends His messengers to deliver His message.  For that reason God ensures to grant them the support and protection required for them to accomplish their mission.  

"O you messenger, deliver what is revealed to you from your Lord - until you do, you have not delivered His message-and GOD WILL PROTECT YOU FROM THE PEOPLE. God does not guide the disbelieving people."  5:67

"If you fail to support him (the messenger), GOD HAS ALREADY SUPPORTED HIM."  9:40

"The disbelievers plot and scheme to neutralize you, or kill you, or banish you. HOWEVER, THEY PLOT AND SCHEME, BUT SO DOES GOD. God is the best schemer."  8:30

It must be pointed out that the protection given to messengers is only against the disbelievers who try to harm God's messengers.  The messengers are not protected against sin.  Like all other humans they are fallible and able to commit all types of sin.  The Quran list numerous errors and mistakes committed by different messenegers of God.
